The Effect of Melody And Rhythmic Music On Critical Creative Thinking Ability In
Learning Steam Learn Early Children. Learning melodic and rhythmic music is one of the
lessons used by early childhood teachers in the concept of learning art or other learning. Melodic
and rhythmic music games are developed in early childhood with the concept of children's critical
creative thinking through Steam learning. From this study, it can be seen that the ability to use
melodic and rhythmic musical instruments partially and simultaneously influences the critical
creative thinking skills of early childhood and the ability to use melodic and rhythmic musical
instruments influences the critical creative thinking abilities of early childhood by applying Steam
learning. The research method uses a true experiment with a pretest-posttest control group
design. The study population was Kindergarten/PAUD students in Tanjung Morawa and the
samples used in this study were Tanjung Morawa State Kindergarten and Al Mirah Tanjung
Morawa Kindergarten. The data analysis technique used in this study uses multiple linear
regression analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of the ability to use melodic and
rhythmic musical instruments partially on the critical creative thinking skills of early childhood,
there was an effect of the ability to use melodic and rhythmic musical instruments simultaneously
on the critical creative thinking abilities of early childhood, and the use of melodic and rhythmic
musical instruments simultaneously. rhythm is influenced by critical creative thinking skills of
6.98%. It is hoped that this research can become a reference in learning to use melodic and
rhythmic musical instruments with the STEAM approach in PAUD
