The data in this study were in the form of words or sentences containing mimicry, and the data source was obtained from the novel Gadis Kretek by Ratih Kumala. Then the data was collected by documentation techniques and analyzed using interactive data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, which included data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results in Ratih Kumala's Gadis Kretek novel show that there are forms of mimicry, including language mimicry, promotional media, means of transportation, attitudes, work, and lifestyle.
