Abstract. Analysis of the Application of Learning With the Concept of Independent Learning.
This study aims to analyze the application of learning with the concept of independent learning in
TK SAIM Surabaya, besides that researchers also want to know the obstacles that are often
experienced by teachers when implementing learning with the concept of independent learning.
This research uses a case study qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were TK B class
teachers, totaling 4 people, TK B students totaling 37 children, and the principal. Data collection
techniques in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is
the Miles and Huberman model which includes the stages: data reduction, data presentation, and
drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate the application of learning with the concept
of independent learning which includes two indicators, namely the existence of intracurricular
learning activities and the existence of a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.
While the obstacles that are often experienced by teachers are that there are still pros and cons
between parents and teachersregarding the application of independent learning in early childhood
education.
