Abstract:
The Process Of Creating Dance Art For Early Childhood In Developing The
Creativity Of PIAUD Students. Learning dance is an important component of stimulating
creativity. Integrating dance into education is not only beneficial for dance preservation efforts
but also education as a whole. In learning dance in education, it is important for students to be
able to be creative and create well because this will help them become creative and innovative
teacher candidates as professional educators. Because it takes imagination, ideas, and concepts
to create works of art, creativity is the key to learning dance because students are required to
produce new and original dance works for early childhood. The purpose of this study is to
determine the dance learning process of PIAUD study program which provides opportunities for
students to express their creativity in creating their own dance works. This study used descriptive
qualitative methods, data collection techniques using observation and documentation techniques.
The source of this research data is the implementation of learning and 29 students. The result of
this study is the disclosure of student creativity in the creation of dance art for early childhood
which is seen in the stages of exploration, improvisation, evaluation, and formation.
