This research examines the implications of pornographic content for children and the
urgency of early sex education. In this era, almost human activities intersect with technology,
because it makes it easier to carry out their activities, including social activities. The sad thing is
that technology that should have a positive impact actually has a negative impact if it is not used
properly. The aim of this research is to determine: 1) the impact of pornographic content on
children, especially teenagers, 2) the role of parents and schools in providing sex education as an
effort to prevent promiscuity. In this research, the author uses a bibliographic approach (library
research). The results of this research are that children who are addicted to pornographic content
will experience several bad impacts such as causing stupidity, addiction, difficulty concentrating,
will become sexually addicted, the spread of HIV and AIDS, and will be given social sanctions
by society if they have sex outside of marriage. In conclusion, sex education needs to start from
parents by providing explanations in stages according to the child's development, then in schools
sex education can be carried out by including a curriculum based on sexual education.
