Meningkatkan Kecerdasan Logis Matematis Anak Usia Dini Menggunakan Media Interaktif Power Point
Abstract:
This study has a problem of children's low knowledge of numbers such as mentioning numbers, sorting numbers and recognizing the concepts of plus and minus. For this reason, teachers as educators in schools need to innovate in learning by using learning media that utilize technology such as Power Point. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop mathematical logical intelligence in early childhood by using interactive learning media based on power point. This study is a quantitative research on the pre-experimental method of one group pretest posttest design. The sample amounted to 22 early childhood using purposive sampling. Observation technique to collect data using observation sheets by checking list based on assessment rubrics. Mathematical logical intelligence instruments consist of three dimensions, namely processing numbers, logical thinking, and problem solving. It has been tested for validity with a calculated r value of 0.098-0.780 with a sig value of 5% obtained a table r value of 0.532. A statement is said to be valid if r is greater than r table, then out of 25 statements 23 valid statements are obtained. Meanwhile, the reliability test using cronbach alpa obtained a value of 0.93. This shows that the instrument used is valid and reliable. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the use of powerpoint-based interactive learning media affected early childhood mathematical logical intelligence (Sig (2-tailed) p=0.000 (p<0.05)). Meanwhile, the Mean pre-test score was obtained with a score of 58.77 and the post-test obtained a score of 76.82. This shows that there is an increase in the value of mathematical logical intelligence in early childhood before and after being treated. The findings of the study show that the use of interactive learning media based on power points can affect the mathematical logical intelligence of early childhood.
