Abstrak:
Practical life centers are a model of learning centers that prioritize children's skills in carrying out their activities. Early childhood will of course essentially become the nation's next generation who are expected to be able to build a better country with their abilities. For this reason, in supporting this, early childhood education provides facilities to encourage children's independence with practical life center learning which will help children from an early age have skills and get used to carrying out their activities independently without depending on other people. The purpose of writing this article aims to describe a practical life center learning model that can instill independence in children aged 5-6 years. This research is a type of literature study research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the research or cases found. Theoretical references obtained by researchers through literature studies are used as the main foundation. Practical life centers in general greatly influence children's independent abilities which are stimulated by various interesting activities that attract children's interest in trying and getting used to their basic skills independently
