UPAYA PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS SISWA PADA TEKS PROSEDUR MELALUI PERMAINAN RACE READING KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 MANDREHE
Abstract:
Based on the results of observations at SMP Negeri 1 Mandrehe, it shows that the ability to write procedural texts is still below the KKM 70. The problem faced by students is that they still have difficulty following the stages or steps in writing procedural texts. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the Race reading game is able to improve the ability to write procedural texts.This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) through the Race reading game. The results showed an increase in learning to write procedure text structure through Race reading game. The results of teacher observation of researchers in cycle I first meeting 66.66%, second meeting 70.37%. The results of the researcher's observation of students in cycle II, the first meeting was 86.24%, the second meeting was 98.05%. Suggestions; 1) it is hoped that students can increase their enthusiasm for learning, especially procedural texts in Indonesian language learning; 2) it is hoped that researchers will apply learning models in teaching and learning activities; 3) further researchers should use this research as an additional insight into carrying out research.
Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SMP Negeri 1 Mandrehe, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan dalam menulis teks prosedur masih dibawah KKM 70. Masalah yang dihadapi siswa adalah masih kesulitan untuk menurutkan tahap atau langkah pada penulisan teks prosedur. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah permainan Race reading mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur.Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) melalui permainan Race reading. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan dalam pembelajaran menulis struktur teks prosedur melalui permainan Race reading. Hasil observasi guru terhadap peneliti siklus I pertemuan pertama 66,66%, pertemuan kedua 70,37%. Hasil observasi peneliti terhadap siswa siklus II pertemuan pertama 86,24%, pertemuan kedua 98,05%. Saran; 1) diharapkan kepada siswa dapat menambah semangat belajar khususnya teks prosedur dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia; 2) diharapkan kepada peneliti untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar; 3) hendaknya peneliti selanjutnya menggunakan penelitian ini sebagai tambahan wawasan untuk melaksanakan penelitian.
