Author Guidelines

Jurnal Dinamika Olahraga is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Physical Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Lampung. The journal publishes original research articles, conceptual papers, and scientific reviews in the fields of sports science, physical education, exercise science, sports health, sports psychology, sports nutrition, biomechanics, sports tourism, and traditional sports.

Authors are required to follow the manuscript preparation guidelines carefully to ensure consistency, academic quality, and compliance with international scientific publication standards.

General Requirements

  1. Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Dinamika Olahraga must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal.
  2. Manuscripts may be written in either Bahasa Indonesia or English.
  3. Manuscripts must be typed using Times New Roman, font size 12 pt, single spacing, on A4 paper format.
  4. The manuscript length should range from 10–15 pages, including references, tables, and figures.
  5. Authors are required to prepare manuscripts according to the journal template and writing guidelines.
  6. Each submitted manuscript must be free from plagiarism and supported by a plagiarism-free statement.
  7. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal submission system (OJS).

Article Formatting

Title

The title must be concise, informative, and not exceed 14 words. It should be written using Times New Roman 14 pt, bold, and capitalized.

Author(s)

Author names must be written without academic titles. A maximum of five authors is permitted for each manuscript.

Institution and Email

Authors must clearly state their institutional affiliation and active email address.

Abstract

The abstract must be written in both Bahasa Indonesia and English with a length of 150–200 words. The abstract should contain the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

Keywords

Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases related to the manuscript topic.

Headings and Subheadings

All headings should be written in bold using Times New Roman 12 pt. Subsections may use numbering formats such as 1, 2, 3 or a, b, c.

Main Text

The manuscript text should use Times New Roman 12 pt, single spacing, with paragraph indentation at the beginning of each paragraph. Foreign or Latin terms should be italicized.

Section Guidelines

Introduction

Explains the research background, research problems, theoretical foundation, previous studies, research urgency, and research objectives.

Materials and Methods

Describes research design, participants, instruments, procedures, and data analysis techniques.

Results

Presents research findings clearly using tables, figures, and descriptive explanations.

Discussion

Interprets findings, relates them to previous studies and theories, and explains scientific implications.

Conclusion and Suggestions

Provides concise conclusions and recommendations for future studies or applications.

Acknowledgments

Acknowledges contributors, institutions, or funding agencies supporting the research.

References

References must only include cited works and should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) Style.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Tables and Figures

Table titles should be written above the table, centered, and formatted in bold.

Figure titles should be written below the figure, centered, and formatted in bold.

All tables and figures must be clearly numbered and referred to in the manuscript text.
