Publication Ethics
Jurnal Dinamika Olahraga is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Universitas Lampung. The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing publication malpractice. This ethical statement applies to all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
The publication ethics of this journal are developed based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. The journal does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or unethical scientific conduct in any form.

1. Responsibilities of Editors
- Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts should be published based on originality, scholarly contribution, and relevance to the journal scope.
- Fair Review: Editors evaluate manuscripts objectively without discrimination regarding gender, race, religion, nationality, or political perspective.
- Confidentiality: Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and author information.
- Review Process: Editors ensure a fair, objective, and timely peer-review process.
- Conflict of Interest: Editors must avoid conflicts of interest in handling manuscripts.
2. Responsibilities of Authors
- Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and free from plagiarism.
- Reporting Standards: Research data and findings must be presented accurately and objectively.
- Multiple Submission: Authors must not submit the same manuscript simultaneously to other journals.
- Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research.
- Data Access: Authors should provide raw data if requested for editorial review.
- Error Correction: Authors must immediately notify the editor if significant errors are found.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents.
- Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by scholarly arguments.
- Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant work not cited by the authors.
- Promptness: Reviewers should complete reviews within the specified time.
- Conflict of Interest: Reviewers must decline manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.
4. Retraction, Correction, and Withdrawal Policy
Articles may be retracted, corrected, withdrawn, or removed if ethical violations, plagiarism, major errors, duplicate publication, or unreliable findings are identified.
Retraction notices will clearly state the reasons for retraction and will remain accessible to maintain the integrity of the academic record.
5. Plagiarism Screening Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Dinamika Olahraga will undergo plagiarism screening using reliable plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts containing plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or unethical citation practices will be rejected immediately.
6. Double Submission Policy
The journal strictly prohibits multiple or simultaneous submissions of the same manuscript to different journals.
If intentional double submission is identified, the manuscript will be rejected immediately, and the authors may be prohibited from future submissions for a specified period.
7. Publisher Responsibilities
Universitas Lampung as the publisher supports editorial independence, publication integrity, and ethical scholarly communication. The publisher collaborates with editors and reviewers to ensure the quality and credibility of the journal publication process.
