Published: Sep 30, 2025

Abstract:

This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of coaches and athletes in the sports of Kurash and Kabaddi through training on the development of structured physical training programs based on scientific principles. The method employed was a coaching clinic that included the delivery of theoretical materials, practical program development sessions, and training implementation simulations. The activity was held at GOR JSC Jatimulyo, Lampung Selatan, on 12–13 July 2025, involving 50 participants consisting of coaches and athletes. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of the principles of physical training program development as well as their skills in designing training programs tailored to the needs of their respective sports. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test showed an average increase in understanding scores by 85%. This activity is expected to support the sustainable development of athlete achievements in Kurash and Kabaddi in Lampung Selatan.
