The Effect of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model through Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda's Literary Works on Students' Understanding of Nationalism

The study aimed to investigate the influence of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model, through the literary works of Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda, on the nationalism understanding of second-grade students in the Pancasila Education subject. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The population of the study consisted of second-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. The sample included 72 respondens, with 36 students in the experimental class and 36 in the control class. Data collection techniques primarily involved tests, supported by questionnaires. Data analysis utilized N-Gain Score tests and Simple Linear Regression tests. Based on the N-Gain Score calculations, it was revealed that the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) model resulted in an average score of 74% for the experimental class, which could be categorized as quite effective. Furthermore, the results of the simple linear regression test indicated a positive influence, with a percentage of 71.1%. Thus, it could be concluded that the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model was effective in helping second-grade students understand nationalism material in Pancasila Education lessons. This VCT model also demonstrated a positive influence of 71.1% on students' understanding of nationalism, namely students are able to understand the values of national unity, the value of independence or freedom, the value of love for the country, and the value of maintaining the honor of the nation. Additionally, the VCT model enabled students not only to understand the material but also to find meaning in their learning experience.  

APPLICATION OF THE PROJECT CITIZEN LEARNING MODEL TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANTI-CORRUPTION VALUES IN CLASS XI STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 SEPUTIH RAMAN

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing the Learning Model Project Citizen in Developing Anti-Corruption and Integrity Values for Students at SMAN 1 Seputih Raman. The research method used in this research is quasy experiment with a type of quantitative approach. The research subjects in this study were class XI students at SMAN 1 Seputih Raman. The sample in this study amounted to 71 respondents consisting of 36 experimental class respondents and 35 control class respondents. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews as support. The research results show that the learning model project citizen able to develop anti-corruption values and student integrity as evidenced by students' enthusiasm and interest in participating in learning so that these values can develop well. Students are able to develop attitudes of honesty, caring, independence, discipline, responsibility, hard work, simplicity, courage, justice and integrity in various aspects of learning. Based on the indicator values obtained, the most dominant anti-corruption values are responsibility, which can be seen from the results of the questionnaire calculations selfassessment obtained a score of 91.67%, peer-assessment amounting to 86.11%, and observation results of 87.96% in the very good category. This statement can be seen from students' discipline in completing assignments, compliance with group rules, and students' initiative in solving problems raised in learning. This attitude shows that the learning model project citizen has a positive impact in developing the character of students, especially in cultivating anti-corruption values and integrity.

The Effect of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the Civic Disposition of MTs N 2 Pringsewu Students Academic Year 2024/2025

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in the Merdeka Curriculum has a close relationship with the formation of civic disposition, which includes private character and public character. This study examines the effect of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on the civic disposition of MTs N 2 Pringsewu students. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of MTs N 2 Pringsewu in the 2024/2025 school year. The sample of this study amounted to 100 respondents. Research data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the effect of the project on strengthening the profile of Pancasila students (P5) on the civic disposition of MTs N 2 Pringsewu students, through the theme "Build the Soul and Body" proved to have a significant effect on the civic disposition of students. In the aspect of private character, learners show an increase in responsibility and self-discipline, such as compliance with rules, involvement in mutual cooperation, and completion of tasks on time. Meanwhile, in the public character aspect, learners become more cooperative, polite, and tolerant in social interactions.

THE ROLE OF MERGO BUAY SUBING CAREER IN PRESERVING LAMPUNG PEPADUN CUSTOMS AS AN EFFORT TO FACE THE CHALLENGES OF GLOBAL CULTURE

The traditional institution of Keperwatinan Mergo Buay Subing is a forum for the people of Kampung Terbanggi Besar to discuss and resolve issues, maintain the existence of culture and preserve local cultural values, plan goals to be achieved by the culture of the indigenous people of Kampung Terbanggi Besar in the future. Keperwatinan Mergo Buay Subing has been established since the 1600s, but over time, the role of Keperwatinan Mergo Buay Subing has experienced ups and downs, especially in this era of globalization. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Keperwatinan Mergo Buay Subing in preserving the Lampung Pepadun tradition as an effort to face the challenges of global culture. This study uses qualitative research methods and data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation, as well as data analysis, namely time extension and data triangulation can provide accurate information. The subjects in this study were Traditional Figures and Community Figures in Kampung Terbanggi Besar. The results of the Mergo Buay Subing Terbanggi Balak Community Care study still play a role in preserving the Lampung Pepadun tradition, especially in Terbanggi Besar Village, but in its implementation, the Community Care only provides examples to the community in terms of behavior, language, and how to dress in everyday life as role models that are expected to be emulated by the indigenous community. The Community Care applies the values ​​of the core pesenggiri in the efforts to preserve Lampung customs, which in this pesenggiri piil includes bejuluk beadek, nemui nyimah, ngejuk ngakuk nengah nyappur, and sakai sambayan. The obstacles faced in this preservation effort are cost factors, public awareness, and participation of the village government and the younger generation.

The Implementation of Diversity-Themed Discussion Learning in Civics Subjects to Students' Critical Thinking Skills State Senior High School 5 Bandar Lampung

The low critical thinking skills of students in Civics (PPKn) learning is a problem that requires serious attention at SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. This situation has prompted the need for innovation in learning approaches that can actively engage students while fostering higher-order thinking skills. The diversity-themed discussion learning model in PPKn was chosen as an alternative designed to address this challenge through contextual and collaborative learning. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental one group pretest-posttest design . The discussion learning model was applied to the experimental class. Data were collected through critical thinking tests before and after treatment, then analyzed using various statistical tests, including effectiveness tests and tests of the model's contribution to learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the discussion learning model is effective in significantly improving students' critical thinking skills. This model contributed 93.1% to the improvement of critical thinking skills, indicating that almost half of the students' achievements were directly influenced by the innovative learning approach through intense discussions among students. Thus, discussions are not only relevant but also strategic for implementation in PPKn learning to shape a generation that is critical, reflective, and respectful of diversity.
