KAJIAN PRAGMATIK KALIMAT EKSPRESIF NETIZEN PADA KOMENTAR TIKTOK KASUS GURU MANSYUR

Abstract:

This study aims to describe the linguistic forms, pragmatic functions, and speech strategies of expressive speech acts employed by netizens in the comment section of the account. The study adopted a descriptive qualitative approach within the framework of pragmatics. The data consisted of netizens' comments containing expressive speech acts and were collected through documentation techniques. Data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model involving data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data trustworthiness was established through theory triangulation and peer debriefing. The findings reveal that expressive speech acts are realized through declarative, interrogative, and imperative sentence forms, with declarative sentences serving as the dominant means of expressing attitudes. The identified pragmatic functions include expressing sympathy, hope, praise, condemnation, blame, and protest. These functions demonstrate a polarization of speech targets, namely support directed toward Guru Mansyur and criticism addressed to law enforcement officers and other parties perceived to be involved in the legal process. The study also reveals a systematic relationship between pragmatic functions and speech strategies. Expressions of sympathy, hope, and praise are predominantly realized through positive politeness strategies, whereas condemnation and blame are mainly conveyed through bald on-record strategies. Meanwhile, protest is more frequently expressed through off-record strategies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk lingual, fungsi pragmatik, dan strategi tuturan tindak tutur ekspresif yang digunakan netizen dalam kolom komentar tersebut. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan perspektif pragmatik. Data penelitian berupa komentar netizen yang mengandung tindak tutur ekspresif dan dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi teori dan diskusi sejawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ekspresif direalisasikan melalui bentuk deklaratif, interogatif, dan imperatif, dengan dominasi bentuk deklaratif sebagai media utama penyampaian sikap. Fungsi pragmatik yang ditemukan meliputi bersimpati, berharap, memuji, mengecam, menyalahkan, dan memprotes. Fungsi-fungsi tersebut memperlihatkan adanya polarisasi sasaran tuturan, yaitu dukungan kepada Guru Mansyur serta kritik terhadap aparat penegak hukum dan pihak lain yang dipersepsikan berkaitan dengan proses hukum. Penelitian ini juga menemukan hubungan yang sistematis antara fungsi pragmatik dan strategi tuturan. Fungsi bersimpati, berharap, dan memuji cenderung direalisasikan melalui strategi positive politeness, sedangkan fungsi mengecam dan menyalahkan lebih banyak menggunakan strategi bald on-record, sementara fungsi memprotes cenderung diwujudkan melalui strategi off-record.
