INTERFERENSI BAHASA KANGEAN TERHADAP BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM TEKS KULTUM SISWA SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 3 ARJASA SUMENEP

Abstract:

This study aims to describe the forms of Kangean language interference in Indonesian, identify the factors contributing to its occurrence, and explain the functions of such interference in kultum (Islamic short sermon) texts written by students of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Arjasa. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The primary data consisted of students' kultum texts, while supporting data were obtained through interviews with the Vice Principal for ISMUBA Affairs, an Indonesian language teacher, and an Islamic Education teacher. Data were collected through documentation and interviews and analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification through technique triangulation. The findings revealed 29 instances of Kangean language interference, comprising 8 morphological, 14 lexical, and 7 syntactic interferences. Morphological interference was characterized by the transfer of Kangean affixation patterns into Indonesian word formation, lexical interference by the use of Kangean vocabulary in Indonesian discourse, and syntactic interference by sentence structures influenced by Kangean grammatical patterns. The occurrence of interference was influenced by bilingualism, the dominance of Kangean as the students' first language, habitual use of the local language, limited mastery of Indonesian vocabulary, and the surrounding social environment.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk interferensi bahasa Kangean terhadap bahasa Indonesia, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kemunculannya, serta menjelaskan fungsi interferensi dalam teks kultum siswa SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Arjasa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data utama berupa teks kultum siswa, sedangkan data pendukung diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang ISMUBA, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik dokumentasi dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan simpulan, dan verifikasi melalui triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 29 data interferensi yang terdiri atas 8 interferensi morfologis, 14 interferensi leksikal, dan 7 interferensi sintaktis. Interferensi morfologis ditandai oleh penggunaan pola afiksasi bahasa Kangean dalam pembentukan kata bahasa Indonesia, interferensi leksikal ditandai oleh penggunaan kosakata bahasa Kangean dalam tuturan berbahasa Indonesia, sedangkan interferensi sintaktis tampak pada penggunaan frasa dan kalimat yang masih mengikuti pola sintaksis bahasa Kangean.
