J-Simbol: Journal of Master's Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education was initially established and managed using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) 2 platform back in 2023. As part of the journal's continuous commitment to improving its publishing services and adopting current scholarly publishing standards, the journal was subsequently migrated to the OJS 3 platform which was initiated in the middle of 2025.

Following the migration, the journal's website URL was officially updated in the databases of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and the Garba Rujukan Digital (Garuda) indexing system. These updates have been successfully completed, and the journal's current website and metadata are now fully synchronized with the records maintained by both BRIN and Garuda.

The migration resulted in the existence of two journal websites (the former OJS 2 site and the current OJS 3 site). The previous website has been retained solely to preserve the publication archive and to provide information directing users to the current journal platform. This duplication is purely administrative and technical in nature and does not affect the journal's editorial policies, publishing practices, peer-review process, or the quality and integrity of its published content.

The journal remains committed to maintaining high standards of scholarly publishing, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of its metadata across indexing services, and continuously improving its editorial management in accordance with international best practices.
