JOURNAL HISTORY AND MANAGEMENT

The Journal of Adaptive Education (JoAEdu) published its first articles on 17 January 2023, in Volume 1 Issue 1, with e-ISSN Number: 2985-8135 (SK ISSN Number: 29858135/II.7.4/SK.ISSN/02/2023), and is published twice a year, in January and July.

  1. The first Editor-in-Chief was Prof. Dr. Een Yayah Haenilah, M.Pd., and the Managing Editor was Hamid Mukhlis, M.Pd. They served from 2023 to 2024, with the journal website accessible at https://journals.fkip.unila.ac.id/index.php/aej.
  2. The OJS website of the Journal of Adaptive Education became inaccessible due to server damage at the end of 2024, and the journal subsequently migrated to a new OJS website in 2025, which remains the current platform, accessible at https://jurnal.pbs.fkip.unila.ac.id/index.php/JoAEdu.
  3. As a manifestation of academic accountability and professionalism, the management of the Journal of Adaptive Education has archived all articles published during the 2023–2024 period on the new OJS website.
  4. From 2025 to the present, the Journal of Adaptive Education has undergone a change in its management team, with the current Editor-in-Chief being Prof. Hasan Hariri, S.Pd., MBA, Ph.D., and the Managing Editor being Dr. Fatkhur Rohman, M.Pd.

In publishing scholarly works in the field of education, the Journal of Adaptive Education has implemented two changes to its article template:

  1. Template Version 1 was used during the 2023–2024 period (from Volume 1 Number 1 through to the end of 2024) [Link].
