AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Authors who wish to submit manuscripts to the Journal of Advances in Physics Education are required to comply with the following guidelines:

1. Language and Format
a. Manuscripts must be written clearly and correctly.
b. Manuscripts must follow the official Journal of Advances in Physics Education template, which can be downloaded via OJS.
2. Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts must include the following sections:
a. Title: Concise, descriptive, and no longer than 15 words.
b. Abstract: Describe the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in 150–250 words.
c. Keywords: 3–5 relevant keywords.
d. Introduction: Present the study’s background, problem, and objectives.
e. Research Methods: Explain the approach and procedures used.
f. Results and Discussion: Present findings clearly and discuss them based on theory.
g. Conclusion: Summarise the research findings and scientific contributions.
h. References: Use the latest edition of APA style.
3. Manuscript Length
The manuscript should be between 4,000–7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
4. References
Authors must use recent references (within the last 5 years), especially from reputable scientific journals. The minimum number of references is 20.
5. Submission Process
a. Manuscripts must be submitted through the online journal management system (Online Journal System).
b. Authors must upload the manuscript file to Microsoft Word using the template.
c. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software.
6. Peer Review Process
a. Submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-masked peer review process.
b. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers’ suggestions.
7. Ethical Policy
Authors must ensure that the manuscript is an original work that has not been published or is currently under review in another journal.
8. Publication Fees
There are no fees for submission or publication of articles.
