OPEN ACCESS POLICY

1. Introduction

The Journal of Advances in Physics Education is firmly committed to the principle of Open Access for scholarly research. Making research freely and widely available to the public supports greater global knowledge exchange, accelerates discovery, enhances education, and maximizes the societal and economic impact of research. This policy outlines the journal's commitment to providing unrestricted access to published articles, in alignment with the mission of its publisher, the Master of Physics Education Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Lampung, to foster and disseminate knowledge.

2. Definition of Open Access

The Journal of Advances in Physics Education provides immediate open access to all content, based on the principle that free public availability of research results strengthens global knowledge exchange. As an open-access journal, all articles are freely accessible to individuals and institutions without subscription charges or registration barriers. Users may read, download, copy, share, print, browse, search, or link to full-text versions of articles without prior permission from the author or publisher, in accordance with the principles promoted by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) and the specific Creative Commons license applied to each article.

3. Policy Details

Free and Immediate Access

All research articles, conceptual papers, and case studies published in the journal are available for free and immediate download to users worldwide upon publication. No embargo period is applied.

Author Copyright and Licensing
  • Authors publishing with the journal retain the copyright of their work.
  • All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. The licensing terms are clearly indicated on each published article.

This license permits others to:

Under the following terms:
