PENGUATAN PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SENI MELALUI PENDEKATAN DEEP LEARNING PADA KOMUNITAS BELAJAR MAHASISWA JURUSAN PENDIDIKAN BAHASA DAN SENI FKIP UNIVERSITAS LAMPUNG

Published: Apr 26, 2026

Abstract:

This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to strengthen language and arts learning among the student learning community of the Department of Language and Arts Education (JPBS), FKIP, University of Lampung, through a deep learning approach. The program was motivated by prevailing surface learning orientations among pre-service teacher students, characterized by memorization and information reproduction without meaningful understanding. It was implemented as a one-day workshop (August 7, 2026) attended by 25 students from Indonesian Language and Literature, Music, and Lampung Language Education study programs, using conceptual lectures, critical discourse analysis, aesthetic exploration, and a collaborative poetry musicalization project. Evaluation used gamification-based pretest-posttest via Kahoot. Results showed significant improvement: correct answers rose from 36% to 84%, a gain of 48 points. Qualitative reflections indicated a shift toward more critical, reflective, and integrative learning. The program produced a deep learning-based community strengthening model applicable to similar contexts.
