Publication Charges
Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Lampung (JPM Unila) is an open access journal managed by the Universitas Lampung. All published articles are available online free of charge to readers, without subscription or access fees. To support the costs of editorial handling, copyediting, layout, DOI registration, and long-term online archiving, authors of accepted manuscripts are asked to pay a one-time publication fee.

The fee is paid once per accepted article, regardless of its length or the number of authors. Authors will receive an invoice from the editorial office after the acceptance decision is issued. No payment is requested at any earlier stage, and rejected manuscripts are never charged.
Fee Reduction for Authors with Limited Funding
We understand that not every researcher has access to publication funding. For this reason, the journal may grant a partial fee reduction of up to 80% to a limited number of authors each year. Requests are assessed individually by the editorial team.
Who may apply. Priority is given to students, early-career lecturers and researchers, teachers, and authors from institutions or regions with limited research funding.
What to submit. The corresponding author should send a short request letter to the editorial office explaining the reason for the request, together with a supporting statement from the head of their institution, faculty, or school confirming that no funding is available for the publication.
When to apply. Requests may be made during submission or no later than the time the acceptance notification is received. Once the invoice has been issued, the fee can no longer be reduced.
Additional considerations:
- Only accepted manuscripts are eligible for a reduction.
- The quality and contribution of the manuscript, as reflected in the reviewers' assessments, will be taken into account.
- Each corresponding author may receive a fee reduction no more than once in a two-year period.
- The decision of the Editor-in-Chief on any reduction request is final.
The ability to pay has no influence on editorial decisions. Information about fee reduction requests is not shared with reviewers or handling editors.
