This issue presents a collection of studies focusing on innovation and current issues in mathematics education. It highlights the integration of technology, ethnomathematics, STEM approaches, and interactive learning media to enhance students’ critical thinking, numeracy literacy, and overall learning outcomes. In addition, this issue addresses contemporary challenges, including the impact of smartphone use on students’ cognitive development.
