Plagiarism Policy

Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Lampung is committed to publishing only original work and does not tolerate any form of plagiarism.

Plagiarism screening
All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity using [Turnitin] before entering the peer review process, and are checked again after revision before final acceptance. Manuscripts with an overall similarity index above [20%] (excluding references, quotations, and the journal template), or with more than 5% similarity from a single source, will be returned to the author(s) for revision or rejected.

Forms of plagiarism
The journal considers the following as plagiarism:

  • copying text, data, figures, or ideas from other sources without proper citation;
  • self-plagiarism, including reusing substantial parts of the author’s own previously published work without citation;
  • duplicate or redundant publication, i.e., submitting the same or substantially similar work to more than one journal;
  • presenting work translated from another language without acknowledgment of the original source.

Actions on plagiarism

  • Before publication: the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for revision or rejected, depending on the extent of plagiarism.
  • After publication: the journal will investigate in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. If plagiarism is confirmed, the article will be retracted, a retraction notice will be published, and the author(s) may be barred from submitting to the journal for a certain period.

Authors are encouraged to check their manuscripts for similarity before submission.
