Manuscript Type

Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Lampung, accepts the following types of manuscripts in the field of mathematics education at all levels (primary, secondary, and higher education). All manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere. Starting from 2025, all manuscripts must be written in English. Articles published before 2025 were published in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

1. Research Article
Reports original empirical research in mathematics education using quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, classroom action research, design/development research, or research and development (R&D) approaches. The manuscript should follow the structure: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

2. Systematic Literature Review (SLR)
Synthesizes existing research on a specific topic in mathematics education through a systematic and transparent procedure. The manuscript must clearly describe the research questions, databases searched, search strategy and keywords, inclusion and exclusion criteria, the selection process (e.g., following the PRISMA guidelines), and the method of data analysis. A narrative literature review without a systematic procedure is not accepted.

Not accepted
The journal does not accept opinion pieces, conceptual articles without empirical or systematic grounding, unrevised theses or research reports, or manuscripts outside the scope of mathematics education.

All manuscript types undergo the same peer review process and must follow the journal’s Author Guidelines and template.
