This study aims to describe the construction of tahfidz learning through the tasmi’ method as a strategy to strengthen the memorization quality of students at PPIQ Tahfidz Nurul Jadid, Probolinggo. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and program documentation, involving program supervisors, tahfidz teachers, and students as the main data sources. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, systematic data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the tasmi’ method plays a crucial role in tahfidz learning, functioning not only as a memorization evaluation tool but also as a pedagogical strategy to foster muroja’ah discipline, memory reinforcement, error control, and mental confidence among students. The implementation of tasmi’ is carried out in a scheduled, gradual, and consistent manner, with teachers actively serving as guides, correctors, and evaluators, while students are required to maintain discipline in preserving their memorization. This study confirms that the tasmi’ method significantly strengthens the quality of students’ memorization in a systematic, sustainable, and measurable way within the pesantren-based learning environment.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi pembelajaran tahfidz melalui metode tasmi’ sebagai strategi penguatan kualitas hafalan santri di PPIQ Tahfidz Nurul Jadid, Probolinggo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi program, melibatkan pengawas program, guru tahfidz, dan santri sebagai sumber utama data. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data secara sistematis, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sementara validitas data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode tasmi’ berperan penting dalam pembelajaran tahfidz, tidak hanya sebagai alat evaluasi hafalan, tetapi juga sebagai strategi pedagogis untuk membangun disiplin muroja’ah, penguatan daya ingat, pengendalian kesalahan, dan peningkatan kepercayaan diri mental santri. Implementasi tasmi’ dilakukan secara terjadwal, bertahap, dan konsisten, dengan guru berperan aktif sebagai pembimbing, pengoreksi, dan evaluator, sedangkan santri wajib menjaga disiplin hafalan mereka. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa metode tasmi’ memperkuat kualitas hafalan santri secara sistematis, berkelanjutan, dan terukur di lingkungan pesantren.
